Sarah Montrond graduated with departmental honors, from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2019, with a BFA in painting and art history with a minor in glass. In 2020 she received scholarships to attend Pilchuck Glass School and Haystack Mountain School of Craft, although do to the global pandemic these experiences were postponed to the summer of 2022. Sarah has recently started a year long tech apprenticeship at the Pittsburgh Glass Center. Sarah works with glass and oil paints, both mediums allow for the simple viewing pleasures of light and color.
